Quality Engineering
Our background working as Quality Engineers within a Tier 1 environment allows us to contract our services dealing with the day to day activities of a Quality department. This encompasses:-
Direct Customer interfacing (We have many contacts within the European Motor Vehicle Assembly plants), running 8D activities and the preparation of reports and verification evidence for submission to the Customer.
Internal communication. Ensuring the production, engineering and logistics departments are kept informed of relevant events occurring at the Customer and Supply base. This includes the implementation of containment action when necessary to avoid internal disruption and Customer Concerns.
Data collection and analysis of key indicators using SPC techniques such as control charts, capability studies and Pareto analysis to identify trends and prioritising actions. Using these techniques to track and improve machinery and process variation through to performance indicators such as yield, rejects, concerns, system failures etc.
Supplier Quality. Working with the supply base on current manufacturing issues. Using problem solving techniques such as 8D to implement permanent corrective action when addressing reported problems. Co-ordinating and drive through change requests to achieve improvements and cost down goals. Also agreeing actions to achieve PPM targets against agreed key indicators. Working with the supply base on new product introduction. Following the disciplines of APQP through to PPAP.
Servicing the customer ensuring systems are followed and by ensuring permanent corrective action is identified, implemented and communicated.
