Inspection and Rework

This is the core area of the business which hugely benefits from the being managed by individuals who posses the skills learned while operating at a Senior Management level within a Tier 1 environment. Due to our exposure to both Customer and Internal performance measures and our experience at managing Suppliers during our time in the front line of manufacturing we are able to give a service which will integrate smoothly with your ongoing operation.

Our "Account Management" philosophy means our objective is to step in and manage the event which we have been called in to support. This means we will not just provide inspection labour but ensure that we take over the entire task so that your employees and not wasting their time servicing and supporting our employees.

Through our account management approach we will provide and create all the necessary job training, data collection sheets and work instructions needed. Whilst this kind of activity can never be truly "Value adding", by use of data collection and data analysis it can at least help to perform a "Lessons learned" service. The individuals we employ are not minimum wage people, they are experience manufacturing operatives who have had experience at working in 8D teams, Quality Circles and on Lean Improvement activities. They are self managing individuals who fully understand that they are carrying the Probe reputation in their own hands.

• Labour flexing (we have reduced the inspection costs at one customer site by flexing labour across jobs to maximise the activity).
• Rework and repacking.
• Skilled assembly assistance.
• Completion of tally sheets (we can generate these related to the activity if required).
• Skilled inspection operatives on CMM,VMM and other measuring equipment.
• Movement of handled product and feedback within the plan, liaising with production, engineering, logistics and stores control.
• Data collection and analysis if required.
• Creating containment quality work instructions for each activity.
• Early warning of specific issues through data sheets and analysis.
• Identifying opportunities on cost saving and improvements to inspection process.
